My name is Lauren, and I am a 32 year old committed to living a passionate life in which my self-expression positively impacts the lives of those around me. I am a graduate of Landmark Education which has helped me develop myself personally and professionally enabling me to create a life of endless possibility for myself.
My life is full of creative endeavors. When I was younger I participated in theater and competitive improvisation. When I went to university, I studied film production. Now I freelance in graphic and web design and build private social networks for companies and organizations through my company Articulate Productions. I also design alternate reality games and transmedia experiences under the pseudonym IneffaBelle.
I love to write and am working on two novels. Riddlebane is a young adult coming of age story set in a dystopian future about a young girl who is recruited to a government school after being rescued from a terrorist act by the terrorist himself. The Particulars is a tongue and cheek satire about an everyman writer competing with vampire authors to write best selling novels. I also write songs and poetry. I am a founding member of a writing critique group called Vision Accomplished Writers. I am into crafts. I love to scrapbook, paint, and take photographs.
I have been diagnosed with multiple autoimmune diseases including Myasthenia Gravis and Sjogren’s Syndrome which have forced me to adapt to new limitations, but it has also let me to find new interests and creative outlets. I write about living a full life while dealing with serious health issues on my other blog NovelPatient.
Although I was raised Jewish, I am a recent convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My faith has helped me endure and flourish in the face of the challenges life brings.
